Abstract: the article provides an analytical review of foreign studies on coping behavior of a person. Classifications of coping strategies existing in foreign studies are considered. The characteristics of effective and inefficient copying actions are given; emotional, cognitive aspects of the coping strategy of the individual are analyzed. An attempt has been made to theorize generalization of empirical data. It is concluded that the analytical review allows to reveal the methodological bases, theoretical approaches and essential characteristics of coping strategies in the context of ethnopsychological characteristics of the individual.

Аннотация: в статье предлагается аналитический обзор зарубежных исследований, посвященных копинг-поведению личности. Рассматриваются классификации копинг-стратегий, существующие в зарубежных исследованиях. Приводятся характеристики эффективных и неэффективных копинговых действий; анализируются эмоциональные, когнитивные аспекты копинг-стратегии личности. Предпринята попытка теоретического обобщения эмпирических данных. Делается вывод, что аналитический обзор позволяет выявить методологические основы, теоретические подходы и сущностные характеристики копинг-стратегий в контексте этнопсихологических особенностей личности.
