Abstract: the article discusses the important features of the diet of athletes (both active gym users and professional athletes), its main problems and its impact on human health. Professional athletes, and even more so amateur athletes, represent a very significant and active part of our society. The most important condition for achieving sports success and maintaining health is proper and rational nutrition. There is no universal diet suitable for all athletes. The athlete's diet should be compiled taking into account general hygienic provisions, as well as the characteristics of the sport, gender, age of the athlete, his body weight, training stages, climatic and geographical conditions, and of course the presence of any diseases and health problems should be taken into account. In accordance with the peculiarities of metabolic processes, a change in the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of nutrition is required.

Keywords: nutrition rationality, health, sports, hygienic assessment.

Abstract: viral keratitis can cause various symptoms, including eye pain, photophobia, lacrimation and blurred vision. In severe cases, viral keratitis can lead to vision loss. Treatment of viral keratitis usually involves the use of antiviral drugs. Antiviral drugs can help reduce the severity of the disease, shorten its duration and improve treatment outcomes. This study evaluated the efficacy and safety of treatment of viral keratitis with antiviral remedies in patients with mild or moderate severity of the disease.

Keywords: viral keratitis, antiviral remedies, efficacy, mild or moderate severity of the disease, complete recovery.

Abstract: the article presents the results of studies on the evaluation of the effectiveness and safety of cataract phacoemulsification in patients over 65 years of age. The results of these studies show that cataract phacoemulsification is a safe and effective procedure in patients over 65 years of age. Most patients achieve visual acuity of 0.5 or better after surgery. However, compared to patients younger than 65 years of age, patients over 65 years of age may experience a slight decrease in visual acuity after surgery.

Keywords: cataract, phacoemulsification, patients over 65 years of age, visual acuity, safety, efficacy.

Abstract: magnetotherapy, in the form of static or variable magnetic field is used as the basic, additional or alternative therapeutic method.

Despite the fact that among the world medical society there is no common view on magnetotherapy as a treatment method, along with other physical factors it is widely used in the medical practice for healing purposes.

The use of low-frequency field therapy has no age limits.

Both permanent and variable magnetic fields may be used in continuous or pulse mode. Depending on the methodology, pulses may have different frequency, duration and form.

In our opinion, since magnetotherapy has a beneficial impact on psychoemotional state, its combination with different kinds of psycho-energetic training promotes improvement of health and working capacity. Analysis of available data shows that magnetotherapy, in case of its proper use, is an effective physiotherapeutic method.

Keywords: magnetotherapy, physical factors, psychoemotional status, permanent and variable magnetic field, physiotherapy.
